Etarn is a Web3 sustainability project that combines AI, biotech, and blockchain to address global sanitation, public health, and agricultural challenges. It uses a “Toilet-to-Earn” model: smart toilets convert human waste into organic fertilizer, generate carbon credits, and support health improvements in communities. Revenue comes from fertilizer sales, advertising via digital displays on the toilets, and anonymized data contributions. Verified emissions reductions are converted into tradable carbon credits, creating additional value. A portion of the project’s income is used for token buybacks and user rewards in the ETAN token. Its operations span urban and rural deployments of infrastructure, aiming to produce both environmental impact and utility.
